The Story So Far..
Chloë Chadwick grew up in Staffordshire, but for the past few years has called the North East home, so much so that she's been dubbed “The Northern Country Queen”. over the past 24 months, Chloë was nominated in the “Best Female Artist” & "Best UK Country Act" category at the UK Country Radio Music Awards & was also nominated for Hotdisc Video Awards for UK & Ireland.
Chadwick has performed for 15 years, across the UK and Europe, honing her own distinctive blend of music which effortlessly blurs the boundaries between pop, Americana, country and folk. She has played prestigious venues such as The Sage Gateshead, Dublin Castle Camden, 02 Academy Newcastle-upon-Tyne, The Cavern Liverpool, and Festivals such as SummerTyne Americana Fest, and the C2C Fest at the 02 Arena London, where she has performed alongside such renowned acts as The Shires, Ward Thomas, Striking Matches, Sam Outlaw, Gretchen Peters, The Beautiful South, The Stranglers, and Emmylou Harris, to name but a few.
Chloë embarked on a life changing journey across the pond to the States with Blue Pie Records in 2015, recording her self penned song 'Big River' alongside ace U.S producer 'Chris Garcia' (Santana, Celine Dion, Demi Levato) and his mixing partner 'Tom Polce' (Bob Dylan, Jerry Lee Lewis). The song later became one of Chloë's favourites on her debut album. She also collaborated with the likes of producer and songwriter Kevin Dippold and Canadian singer/songwriter Noble Taylor; together they wrote songs for emerging artists signed to the label in 2015.
In 2016, Chloë returned to the UK to promote her new music. She embarked on her first headline tour, in support of her highly acclaimed, self titled EP which hit BBC radio stations across the UK and landed her EP in the iTunes charts competing against the likes of Lady Antebellum, Carrie Underwood and Brandy Clark.
Compared to such performers as Melissa Etheridge, Chadwick has most recently released her debut album, Dustbowl Jukebox, which is receiving rave reviews. Intense, powerful vocals, stunning production and stirring lyrics make this a CD which simply has to be heard. Dustbowl Jukebox was produced in the main at Cluny Studios, by Tony Davis (Lighthouse Family, Maximo Park). Every song finds its own identity, be it rooted in pop, rock, country, and soul. Together, they are testament indeed to the versatility of Chloë’s vocal capabilities, as she effortlessly takes us on a ten track musical journey. This is evidenced in the fact that it soared to the top 14 of the iTunes Country chart, won days of its release.
2018 is looking bright for Chadwick as she is set to storm the festival season with a brand new 5-piece band. Watch out for summer date announcements, a European autumn tour, and some brand new music, for Chadwick's time has come!
